What we most definitely have in common (Eva & Dagný here) is that we LOVE slow mornings!
For us, they are not a luxury, but a lifeline. The difference between feeling like we’re being dragged through the day versus gliding through it with intention and grace.
A slow morning doesn’t mean lying in bed for hours (though that’s cosy too). It’s about creating a pocket of time that’s yours….. to meet yourself before the world gets to you.
It’s an act of devotion, a way of saying:
I am worth moving slowly.
And we’ve learned something: rushing is the enemy of radiance.
Radiance lies in our presence and energy. It doesn’t come from how much we accomplish or how fast we move. It comes from the way we sit in ourselves. From feeling grounded, nourished, and deeply at home in our own skin.
Here’s how we craft our little luxuries that make the whole day smoother, softer, and more radiant:
Start with light and fresh air
After a juicy moment of cuddling and bed appreciation. Open a window and roll up the blinds. Let the fresh air and natural light wake you softly. If it’s still dark, light a candle. Choose the energy you want to bring into the day.

Hydrate like it matters
A warm glass of water with lemon, always. A spoonful of raw honey. A pinch of good sea salt. It wakes up your cells, starts the digestion fire and reminds your body that you’re cared for.

Move softly and breathe deep
Stretch, sway, dance, and take five deep breaths. Not “exercise” just opening your body to receive the day.

A moment of reflection
Sit by a window with your journal or just reflect: What do I need today? How do I want to feel? Let your morning intentions anchor you. We also like a morning read (in a real book) when there is space for that.

Bathe like a goddess
Some think its weird, some fully agree. We love a morning bath. Even five minutes in water can change everything. We of course use THE SOAK, our pure Icelandic bath salt that has kelp, moss, and wild forest oils in it to make it into a ritual. It’s like inviting the stillness of nature into your morning, cleansing not just your skin but your energy.

Follow with skincare as ritual
Don’t rush it. Dab some cold water on your face or glide an ice cube over your cheeks and jawline. Apply serums with intention, feeling them absorb as you breathe deeply and think something nice about yourself. Seal it in with your favorite moisturizer or facial oil. It’s not just about products it’s about touch & presence.

And then… indulge
Make an Italian-style breakfast that feeds not just your hunger but your soul: Espresso, fresh fruit, organic eggs, maybe a slice of bread with your favourite toppings or a pastry if you feel like it. Eat it slowly. Preferably in a robe. Preferably by an open window with good music playing.

Because when you claim your mornings, you claim yourself.
And everything else in your day falls into place.

Here’s to mornings that feel like a soft power move.
With love,
